Why I Started MOOey MOOey: From Kitchen Hobby to Small Business

Like a lot of things in life, MOOey MOOey started with love—and a little bit of mess in the kitchen.

I never set out to create a skincare brand. I just wanted something simple, natural, and safe to use on my aging skin. Something that worked without the chemical cocktail found in most store-bought products. When I learned about the benefits of grass-fed tallow, I gave it a try. The first batch was small, imperfect—and completely life-changing.

I shared it with friends. Then friends of friends. Then my massage therapist and anytime I attended a free class. (teacher’s pet!) And every time, I heard the same thing:

“You need to sell this.”

So I did.

What started as a personal solution became a passion. I spent nights researching clean ingredients, testing recipes, and perfecting textures. The more I learned, the more committed I became to creating skincare that was honest, effective, and made with real ingredients.

No seed oils. No toxins. No greenwashing. Just grass-fed tallow, organic oils, pure essential oils—and a whole lot of care.
